Built with Beshay Steel, supporting one of Egypt’s most significant modern transport projects

Cairo Metro Line 3 is one of the most significant urban transportation projects in Greater Cairo and the first east–west metro corridor running beneath the Nile. The line extends approximately 41.2 km and includes 34 stations, both underground and elevated, connecting key areas from Imbaba and Mohandessin to Adly Mansour in northeastern Cairo. Beshay Steel contributed to the execution of this project through the supply of high-quality steel products, including rebars and billets, supporting construction efficiency and structural strength in line with international standards. The project was implemented in four main phases, with the first sections opening in 2012 and further extensions completed through 2024. Line 3 features key interchange stations with Line 1 at Nasser Station, Line 2 at Attaba and Cairo University stations, the Light Rail Transit at Adly Mansour Station, as well as connections to the East and West Nile Monorails. It has significantly enhanced Cairo’s public transport system by reducing congestion, improving mobility, and providing a fast and efficient transit option across Greater Cairo’s districts.
