Sustainable development is essential to improve the quality of life for everyone, in this and future generations. For Beshay Steel this means analysing and evaluating the environmental, social and economic impact of all their decisions.

As part of our sustainable development policy we are committed to supplying steel in a financially sustainable, efficient operation that satisfies the needs of our customers whilst increasing the resource and energy efficiency of the production process. We are also continuing to increase the amount of steel we recycle and are working towards reducing the waste products of the steel making process. Finally and equally importantly, we want to ensure the well-being of our employees by providing a safe working environment. Our sustainable development policy is based on 3 key factors which make up our policy triangle; Health and Safety, the Environment and Energy. Looking in depth at these three important areas has allowed us to develop a comprehensive plan committed to improving the industry for the future generations.
